Desert to Jungle - from one extreme to another

At the start of 2019, my husband and I moved from Menindee; a small town in outback Australia to a village in a jungle on the island of Efate in Vanuatu.

We've exchanged rolling red dust storms and temperatures of 47 degrees Celsius for turquoise seas, lush green landscapes and 100% humidity. We've travelled back in time, to live with people who happily exist without electricity, water supply or money. We are humbled by our ni-Van friends.
